Urban Machine suspending lumber recycling operations in American Canyon due to a lack of demand

We need to share an unfortunate update. Urban Machine is suspending our lumber recycling operations in American Canyon due to a lack of demand for reclaimed dimensional lumber. We have paused all technology development as sales of our machine have not materialized. We believe that reclaimed lumber is the key to lowering construction costs, reducing embodied carbon, and improving circularity in the built environment. This market will grow over time and there is great work going on now at universities and startups focused on using and developing reclaimed lumber products. However, the demand is not yet here for the large volume production that Urban Machine offers. We continue to explore opportunities to sell and license the technology. In American Canyon, our production machine is available for demonstrations.
